Acrylic Eyes

Custom impression fitted prosthetic eyes are created from methylmethacrylate.  The iris, sclera and pupil are hand-painted to match the patient’s companion eye.

Silicone Eyes

Flexileyz™ is a soft, hollow, flexible medical (implant) grade silicone artificial eye for those patients who are unable to accommodate rigid acrylic prosthetic eyes following eyeball evisceration or enucleation.  It is the first silicone eye prosthesis technology available.

Flexileyz™ more closely resembles the anatomical flexibility of the natural human eyeball and is an accommodating and forgiving combination of bio-science materials combined to alloplastically replicate the replacement eye for the anophthalmic eye socket.

The acrylic prosthetic eye can be externally coated with Flexieyz™ to protect from conjunctival allergic reaction by preventing direct contact to the acrylic prosthesis, as well as provide for increased comfort due to a softer, more flesh-like surface.
