Real Life's Alloplastic Reconstruction Specialists each have a minimum of 20 years experience and over 50 years combined expereince. Real Life's head of Ocularistry is a Board Certified Ocularist with 30 years experience.
The Prosthetics and Orthotic staff have met the rigorous training requirements and passed the required examinations of the American Board for Certification (ABC). ABC is recognized in the United States as the highest standard of education and professionalism in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Real Life's technicians are ABC registered. In addition, the Real Life staff at all levels participate in continuing education to keep pace with the latest advancements and continue to grow their knowledge of human anatomy, material science, bio mechanics and normal and pathological human locomotion - as well as continue to perfect their world-class artistic craftsmanship.

Michael Scarzello-Kaczkowski, BFA, Dir. of Alloplastics, has over 20 years experience in alloplastic/anaplastology reconstruction. He is an artist, inventor, and prosthetic skin technology pioneer. He is known internationally for creating alloplastic skin technologies that can only be recognized as non-flesh under harsh scrutiny. Among these prosthetic and alloplastic technologies include Dermatos®, Livingskin®, Derma~Flex®, MyoDerm,® Derma~Hair® and Derma-Tan® and of course RealLifeSkin™, to mention a few. His technologies are worn by hundreds of patients world-wide and have been highlighted in the press, both locally and nationally, as well as in main-stream international magazines including Men’s Health, The Ladies Home Journal, and Stuff Magazine. Additionally his work has been seen on television broadcasts including The Learning Channel, The Discovery Channel and the hit TV series ER. Mr. Kaczkowski has also been profiled in several national publications and newspapers. He has authored various articles for amputee, prosthetic and health journals, including In-Motion, First Step, In-Step and The World Health Organization Journal. He is an active public speaker, delivering lectures and in-services to many professional organizations, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and private companies both nationally and abroad. |

Jonas W. Seeberg, CPO |
Jonas W. Seeberg, BS, CPO is President and clinical director of Real Life Prosthetics. He has practiced at some of the nation's leading institutions for Prosthetics and Orthotics, including the Orthopedic Hospital in Los Angeles and the Jacquelin Perry Institute at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, California. Mr. Seeberg has created artificial limbs for amputees throughout the nation and in many parts of the world, delivered not only through his own companies, but also through clinics at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Kernan Hospital, and Sinai Hospital. A former athlete, Mr. Seeberg is also a specialist in fitting athletes custom-designed prostheses that maximize optimal and specific athletic functions. One of Mr. Seeberg’s most notable athlete patient’s is Paralympic Gold Medalist and World Record Holder, Jessica Long. Mr. Seeberg’s long history as a clinical educator includes teaching courses on behalf of the APTA, media appearances, published articles and contributions to research and development within the industry. He is also actively involved in charitable prosthetic outreach as founding member of The Amputee Network, LLC and Life & Limb Ministries, Inc. Mr. Seeberg is certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC). He received his collegiate degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics at California State University Dominguez Hills in Los Angeles, California with Magna Cum Laude honors. |

Gregory J. Michalov, CPO Prosthetist, Director of Prosthetics R & D |
Gregory J. Michalov, CP, COA, Director of Research and Development, is one of only 3,300 ABC Certified Prosthetists. He has over 19 years of clinical experience, including key positions at Ossur USA an international leader in prosthetics technology. While there, he directed continuing education efforts, conducted R&D studies on silicone suction socket technology and served as a product advisor to the company’s research and development department in Reykjavik, Iceland. At Real Life Prosthetics, Greg currently heads the prosthetic residency program, mentoring the aspiring prosthetists as they gain patient experience in the field. Greg is also active with Life and Limb Ministry working to provide prosthetic care for the indigent amputees in Colombia, South America. |

Daniel Eaton, BCO, IMFT Director of Ocularistry, Alloplastic - Prosthetic Facial Reconstruction Specialist |
Daniel Eaton is currently an assistant clinical professor in the department of surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science. Dr. Eaton was previously an assistant professor in the department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery, UAMS. He currently holds thirteen U.S. patents with seven U.S. patents pending. He is the founder of the first UAMS incubator to be licensed for commercial utilization. He is a former member of the animal use committee at UAMS and is the author of seventeen medical journal articles and chapters in three medical/surgical textbooks. He received the “Legends” award for cancer research from the American Cancer Society and the recipient of four medical technology and design awards. Eaton is a board certified ocularist and his education includes undergraduate; Arizona State University, graduate; University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Hemlock, MI., (biomaterials) and Sahlgren’s Hospital, Gothenberg, Sweden, where he studied Osseointegration under Professor Ingvar Branemark. At present he is also in private practice at Alloplastic Facial Reconstruction in connection with RealLifeSkin. He is also a research and development consultant for ContourMed, Inc. |

James Wilson, Sr. BFA, CO C.P.A Medical Artist, |
James M. Wilson, SR., BFA, CO, C.P.A., is a medical artist who commits his talents to the RealLifeSkin™ technology. He is certified in orthotics by the American Board for Certificiation. He has 30 years of orthotics and prosthetics experience, including research and development of hybrid carbon design lower extremity orthoses at Real Life Prosthetics and continued work as a Veterans Administration Qualified Prosthetist. James also received a degree in Fine Arts from the Maryland College of Art. He also provides development and support for The Amputee Nework Blog website and blog. When not at Real Life Prosthetics, James, who is an accomplished musician and sound designer, can be seen playing drums and percussion with O’Malley’s March, The Bobwhites, and numerous other musicial groups in the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area, or he can be found in his studio recording music. |

Steven P. Lattanzi CP Patient Care |
Steven P. Lattanzi, CP, is an ABC certified Prosthetist. He graduated from Northwestern University Prosthetic Orthotics Center, with a certificate in Prosthetics and completed his residency with Real Life Prosthetics. Steve also worked for 8 years in the pedorthic shoe field. He currently specializes in lower extremity prosthetics and has experience with microprocessor knees, vacuum suspension systems, upper extremity myoelectrics and computer assisted design. He maintains an extensive knowledge of the technological advances in prosthetic componentry. |

Christine Tirman Patient Care, |
Clinic administrator and patient care coordinator for the Southern United States, Christine Tirman, has 30 years experience in the medical field, working with patients who are faced with cancer, trauma, and congenital deformities. She is also trained in insurance filing, obtaining and dispersing medical records, surgical scheduling and coordination with other physicians and hospitals. She is part of this team that puts the needs of every patient and family member first. She is also helpful in explaining the process and procedures that will be experienced by the patient and their family members. |
