Patient: Male, age 48, Self-employed Texan

Pathology: Cancer (basal cell carcinoma) of the orbit, maxillary sinus and nose.

Intervention: Exenteration, hemi-maxillectomy, hemi-rhinectomy and palatectomy

Prosthesis: Self-retained, removable, hollow-core prosthesis provides obturation (oro-pharynx), normal sinus drainage, vocal resonance and speech articulation, humidity and breathing airway.
